i am not a chef but i tried this very simple way of preparing chicken.i call it adobo sa tanglad. a pilipino way of cooking chicken meat. clean and cut the whole chicken then wash it in water.place the sliced meat in wok then add garlic,onion,chilli,laurel leaves,tanglad(a lemon grass use for cooking to add nice odour and flavor in meat).thelemongrass should be placed as sheet in wok so that the meat wil not stick on wok after cooking. the only liquid you may add is soy sauce and vinegar. no need to add salt because there is salt already in soy sauce.a moderate flame is needed to cook.dont forget to cover the wok so that the flavor will not evaporate or escape while cooking.remember a moderate or weak flame is needed.if it is dried up already it is cooked already and ready to serve. the salad for this is sliced green mango in soy sauce with sliced garlic and onion.if you dont have tanglad use ginger.
