I need dry pectin for a salad dressing recipe what can I use? Thanks in advance?

Give us an idea of some of the other ingredients - that will help us....I'll check backI need dry pectin for a salad dressing recipe what can I use? Thanks in advance?
Do you can? The Sure Gel for making jelly is pectin.

Pectin is found on the skins of mostly fruit, but some vegetables.

So, I think you need to go buy some. Sorry. Maybe someone smarter than me has a substitute for you.

But, knowing the type of dressing you're wanting to make would be nice too.

Sometimes, repeat, sometimes plain gelatin works in recipes. But for dressings with too much fresh acid (vegetable or fruit) would break down the viscosity. That's why gelatin isn't used for all jams and jellies.
