Hot or cold pasta salad/ The recipe didn't say?See details?

I made a rotini, crisp\tender broccoli, carrot, red pepper, celery, with a spicy peanut sauce from a recipe. It didn't say to serve hot or cold, what do you think? It would be easier served cold, but I don't know....it is for a food day at work.Hot or cold pasta salad/ The recipe didn't say?See details?
pasta salads are usually cold. If they're hot, they're casseroles. Don't ask me why.Hot or cold pasta salad/ The recipe didn't say?See details?
Hey, that's what I'm here for! ;^) Report Abuse

Make half hot and half cold. Call the cold ';salad'; and the hot ';casserole'; and see if anyone notices.
dress the pasta when its hot, the noodles will absorb more of the flavors.then chill it and add the rest of the ingredients and serve cold. I prefer not to add everything in at once, most everything that is going in will get enough dressing on it, but you want everything to taste like it usually does and not just like the dressing.
you should go with cold that way while your at work you won't have to worry about reheating
Peanut sauce is usually Thai, so I think hot. But it sounds good to me either way.

I would make it, and taste it hot %26amp; cold, and make up my mind from there. Good luck.
I'm trying to think of a sald that would be hot but don't think I have ever heard of one. Would go with cold.
I personally prefer hot pasta. Consider the consistency of the veggies you have in it. If they are firm and crisp, then cold would be okay, but if they are more cooked than raw, then I think hot would be the preference.
Generally pasta salad is served cold. If it is served hot, I don't believe that it would be considered to be a salad; but would be more of a pasta main dish. Enjoy and have a nice night!
I would prefer cold
