Are you looking for a salad recipe, or something decorative to keep in the salad bowl? ..... You can fill it with lemons, limes %26amp; oranges if it's decorative..... or keep tomatoes, bananas and avocados in there, since they shouldn't be refrigerated (I have a fruit bowl with those on my counter). Then, in the Fall, you can keep little winter squash, pomegrantes and Indian corn in it..... Later, you can switch it to green %26amp; red apples......

What about a lg. mixing bowl or a roasting pan. As long as the salad taste good it will be fine.
