What kind of mayonaise is best to make Waldorf Salad? Know any good recipe(s)?

Waldorf Salad

A classic salad, fancy enough for special occasions and for potluck meals, but simple enough for every day. I use light mayonnaise and yogurt instead of whipping cream for a lower fat version.

Ingredients:

1 green apple (Granny Smith)

2 red apples

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup diced celery

1 cup seedless grapes, halved

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup whipping cream

1/2 cup coarsely chopped toasted walnuts

Directions:

Core and dice apples. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Add celery and grapes to the apples and toss.

Combine mayonnaise and cream. Pour over apple mixture and toss to combine.

Refrigerate until serving time. It can be served right away or made a few hours in advance.

Just before serving add walnuts and toss to mix.

Directions for Waldorf salad

Zest orange for the 1 teaspoon grated orange peel; peel and section orange over a bowl to catch any juices. Cut each orange section in half; reserve 1 tablespoon of the collected orange juice. In a bowl combine diced apple, orange peel, raisins, celery, walnuts, and orange pieces.

In a separate bowl, blend together mayonnaise, sugar, and reserved orange juice. Fold in whipped topping and gently stir into apple Waldorf salad mixture. Arrange salad greens on serving plates and top with Waldorf salad. What kind of mayonaise is best to make Waldorf Salad? Know any good recipe(s)?
Waldorf Salad is supposed to be kind of sweet, so I would think Miracle Whip would do the trick.
Best Foods/Hellman's is the ONLY mayo to use for ANY purpose. The others are crap. I speak as a former chef...
Best Foods Real Mayo !
